Quantum commercialization takes shape through customer procurement and integration into real workflows.

Under a framework agreement announced on 20 October, Bechtle will provide DLR QCI with cloud access to IQM’s superconducting quantum systems through June 2027.
The service combines quantum hardware, cloud access and a dedicated classical server in Munich for hybrid workloads. Bechtle manages onboarding and accounts; IQM supplies the hardware and platform. According to IQM, workloads remain in Germany.
For DLR QCI, superconducting access also expands opportunities for cross-platform benchmarking.
My investment takeaway: customer adoption, integration and service delivery are meaningful indicators of commercialization alongside hardware performance.
This contract is a concrete step toward a commercial quantum services business.
